We were asked to design some bespoke oak benches for a public garden at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton Devon, around two established trees. An organic rustic design involving curved pieces of oak on oak logs with very organic edges was suggested and built. The bespoke benches immediately look like they were grown there. The curved benches vary in height as they undulate around the tree, meaning all sizes ages can sit comfortably and enjoy the gardens.
